Pam Bondi Out As AG Following Months Of Epstein Controversy, Criticism Over Lack Of Prosecutions
President Donald Trump has fired Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to multiple reports, bringing an end to her highly scrutinized tenure.Bondi met with Trump in the Oval Office on Wednesday night and was informed that she would be fired, Fox News reported on Thursday.Bondi, who was touted by Trump as being “tough on violent criminals” and “an America First fighter” when she was nominated, was criticized frequently for her role in the Epstein investigation and the Justice Department’s struggle to prosecute some of Trump’s political enemies.Shortly after taking over as attorney general in early February of 2025, Bondi was criticized for the Justice Department’s handling of the investigation into pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
