Clay County authorities investigate spiking rumors at Ridgeview High School’s homecoming
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says there is no indication or evidence that fentanyl was involved in an incident being discussed on social media involving Ridgeview High School. In a Facebook post, Sheriff Michelle Cook said detectives are speaking with students to determine whether gummies or caffeine pills may have been involved. “We will get to the bottom of it,” Cook said, adding that the agency will release an official update after the interviews are complete.
