Update: (4:03 p.m., Sept. 26, 2026) Temporary evacuation points opened today at 3:45 p.m. at Lahaina Civic Center and at 4:30 p.m. at South Maui Community Park Gym in Kīhei for residents and others evacuating Olowalu Village due to a brush fire that poses an immediate threat to life and property.
