Family of Nolan Wells calls for ‘thorough investigation’ after their son’s mysterious death
A Mississippi family says life has been hard while grappling with questions after their 18-year-old son, Nolan Wells, was found dead after the Fourth of July. Wells’ body was found in the water near an island where he and his friends had taken a boat trip. Nolan’s mother says the family hasn’t had time to grieve, as each day and minute is so difficult. One of Nolan’s friends says it wasn’t in his character to separate from the group and that he wouldn’t have stayed behind, as others in the friend group have said during the investigation. The case has ignited intense speculation online, and the family lawyer, Ben Crump, vowed to fight in the case, saying the truth will come out at some point.
