First Alert Forecast: Moke’s outer bands will impact the Big Island of Hawaii initially this weekend

Tropical Depression Two-C slowly found its footing this morning and is now officially Tropical Storm Moke. The good news on the path front: official NHC forecasts keep the center of the storm passing south of the island chain. Even with the center of Moke staying south, tropical systems throw weather far out from their core—so we’ll still see significant impacts, especially on the Big Island and East Maui.
