The U.S. military says it’s launching strikes on Iranian targets in response to Tehran’s attack on American forces a day earlier. U.S. Central Command said that the strikes are “a powerful response to yesterday’s attempted Iranian attack” and that they began on Wednesday evening, in a post on social media.
