The crash marks the latest escalation in the U.S. conflict with Iran, which has intensified in recent days. Thirteen U.S. service members have been killed in the war. More than 300 injured amid the conflict since the United States and Israel launched attacks on Feb. 28, according to Capt. Tim Hawkins, a spokesperson for U.S. Central Command.
